Cooking verbs

Everyone loves cooking, right? Here you'll find a list of 39 verbs relative to la cuisine.

First, do you know the difference between cuisiner, cuire, faire la cuisine and faire cuire?

CUIRE This is for the specific action of cooking something and always takes an object.
CUISINER This is in regards to the chef, how or when he or she prepares or cooks.
FAIRE LA CUISINE This is to cook in general. Similar to 'to do the cooking'.
FAIRE CUIRE This seems strange to an English speaker, but this is the most common way to say 'to cook' something. Because a stove cooks, and not a human, in French it's common to say 'have something cooked', rather than 'to cook something'.
