Learn irregular verb conjugations in the present tense of the imperative

L'impératif de l'impératif

Regular pattern:

Use the regular present tense conjugations of the indicative mood to create the imperative tense. With -ER verbs, you also need to remove the last 's' from the tu form.

Example conjugation:

Parler (to speak)

Tu	parles	→	parles*
Nous	parlons	→	parlons
Vous	parlez	→	parlez

Choisir (to choose)

Tu	choisis	→	choisis
Nous	choisissons	→	choisissons

* The removed 's' is re-added when the verb is negative or when the conjugation is directly preceded by a hyphen and the pronouns y or en.

Description:

Conjugate like an -ER verb, in that you need to drop the 's' from the tu form. Remember: these verbs are treated as -ER verbs normally.
